A Day Camp Enrichment Program
For Adolescent Girls At
Stone Fox Farm
"
In Good Company" is a day camp for girls 10 to 14 years of age with specific therapeutic & learning goals in mind. The camp utilizes the healing and teaching nature of horses to help girls build confidence and self-esteem. Pro-social skills, creative decision making skills, healthy relation- ships and problem solving skills are developed while par- ticipating in fun and engaging activities with the horses. The camp includes personality testing along with a scrap- book ("The Book of Me") that each girl will construct to help them develop a sense of who they are and what makes them unique and special.
The camp will meet on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from noon to 4 PM for two weeks. The cost per girl is $65 a day or $390 for the two week camp and includes all materials, snacks and lunches.
A minimum of six girls is required for the camp to run and a maximum of ten girls is allowed per
camp session.
